Teacher Book Clubs are a great tool for professional development, but teachers are so busy.
Teachers can read at their own pace and reflect to prompts at various points of the text.
Once they arrive at the prompt, they can view other teacher's perspectives on the prompts as well.

Teacher introductions can be made prior to the beginning of school. The Grid can be shared with the students before the first day, easing their jitters about their new teacher. Students can even introduce themselves too!

"Virtual cards" can be created using Flipgrid. Create thank you cards, get well cards, congratulation cards, etc.
Basically the teacher will create a prompt asking for students/faculty to leave video reflections with words of encouragement, gratitude, etc.

I have used Flipgrid to allow my students to read an article about a given topic,
and then they had to teach their peers about the topic using a video response.
They also had to find a quote that matched the meaning of their assigned topic topic.
